Admissions Policies

Students are offered admission to Blessed Sacrament School in the following order:
- Children of school families;
- Children of active parish families;
- Children of non-parish families;
- Date of application and commitment to the school for long-term enrollment (through 8th grade) are considered when there are more applicants than space available.
*Preference in openings in Montessori will be given to families committing to the full-three year program in addition to the notations above.
In general, families who are not part of the school already will be notified in late January or early February if they have a confirmed seat for the following fall.AGE REQUIREMENTS
A child must be 3 years old by September 1 to enter 3K and Montessori; 4 years old by September 1 to enter 4K, 5 years old to enter Kindergarten and 6 years old to enter first grade. Preference for openings in 3K, 4K and Montessori will be given to families who plan to continue at Blessed Sacrament throughout their elementary school years.
Blessed Sacrament School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin and physical disability to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin or physical disability in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and financial aid programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. However, if the school finds itself unable to adequately meet the educational needs of a child, it is not required to add teachers or support staff, nor to modify the physical structure of the school building in order to meet the nondiscrimination stipulations of this policy.
