The Intermediate level is a time for students to delve more deeply into subject areas. Building upon the foundation created, students delve more deeply into the stories of Jesus and the Bible, begin to think abstractly about morals and decisions, and see that learning is both divided into subjects and forms a complex whole.
Increasingly, students are encouraged to take initiative and responsibility for their learning. There is an increasing focus on learning as a partnership between teacher and students, with each taking an appropriate role.
The curriculum at Blessed Sacrament is based upon the standards in the various academic subjects. Where appropriate, lessons in subjects other than religion make connections to aspects of faith.
