Mr. Joseph Thompson

Education: University of Wisconsin, BA in English, Edgewood College, Teaching Certificate. 

Experience: Teacher here for 12+ years. I taught for UW College for Kids for about 20 years, and was a full-time actor/performer for ComedySportz for 4 years and I work part-time at UW Athletics in Community Relations for "Badgers Give Back" - getting our student-athletes involved in the community. 

Why I'm a teacher: I love the students and I love coming to work every morning. I love learning new things each and every day. I especially love the Blessed Sacrament community - it is my "home." I love the Dominican Pillars of Prayer, Study, Community, and Ministry. Our school served my two older kids extremely well in their high school and college careers. 

More about me: We are parishioners, my two older kids are BSS grads and Jackson is a 5th grader. Both of my parents were teachers and every one of my 5 siblings works (or worked) in education
