Ms. Brigid Ryan

Education: Montessori Primary Certification NAMC-2010; B.A. Vocal Performance St. Mary’s University 2007; Orton Gillingham Certified Tutor 2016 

Experience: This is my 11th year working at a Montessori, either teaching my own classroom or working as an Administrator. I have taught in the Twin Cities and worked in Madison for the past 5 years, and this is my second year teaching at Blessed Sacrament. 

Why I’m a Teacher: I love seeing the genuine joy and interest on a child’s face when they discover something new or understand something for the first time; they don’t hide their excitement. I also believe that, especially working with young children, it is important to instill an understanding of how to love and support each other emotionally and spiritually through play and work. I attended Blessed Sacrament from K-8th grade and it has truly felt like coming home being able to teach here! 

About Me: Music, family and food are really important to me. You will most likely find me hanging out with my sisters, eating/making food, or making music on the weekends!
