I knew I wanted to be a teacher because I love working with children. I also love to learn. Teaching is a field that would allow me to continue learning each and every day. I love that you can never "settle" or be complacent as a teacher. I love seeing my students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. When you love what you are doing, it never feels like work. I wholeheartedly love coming to school each day. My students and colleagues inspire me and challenge me to be the best teacher I can be.
Blessed Sacrament School is an extremely special community. The support from my student's families, my colleagues, and the parish is amazing. I believe strongly in the multi-age model and the many benefits it provides our students such as building leadership skills, independent working skills, and small group instruction tailored to student's specific needs. Blessed Sacrament School believes in teaching the whole child; instilling a love for learning, values, and morals in every lesson. Being part of a PreK-8th grade school and seeing the interaction between the older students and younger students makes my heart happy. It is very special to see my students grow throughout their time at BSS.
More about me: My husband (Aaron) and I have a little boy named Mason. He is 1 years old and is all over the place. He is so happy and full of life. We also have a rescue dog named Bronx. I love to spend time with my family, play/watch sports, travel, and spend time outdoors.
